An Untidy Room
The rain had stopped much earlier,
But it had brought a great
Misfortune as I opened the door
I found my room,
Untidy with all kinds of dirt,
It felt more like a Deja Vu
With my aching body,
I wasn’t even able to make
Any sighs, I saw the nest,
But I couldn’t see the birds
A ruined place conquered
By cobwebs, dust, smear and hair
With unbearable cold, my bones
Began to produce a stuttering
Rhythmic noises echoing with grief,
Illusions, mirages call what you may
But this ain’t the reality,
The lamp above my head was
Producing a crackling sound,
And with every crackle it made
I felt like my body was falling and
Dropping inside some deep gorge
And with all this explanation
I still failed to make any sense
To you, these ceramic bowls,
And the materialistic shiny
Lustre, doesn’t appeal to my senses;
Appalling figures move around me
From time and again.
A hungry, thirsty soul found
No solace from any side,
Drenching inside the nebula
Of blood-sucking moths and lizards.
