A beautiful day
I still remember that day,
When I hopped over those
Cobblestones and the running
Water in the nearby foamy stream,
And around me were the Snowcapped
Mountains, the sun was bedazzling
And far in the deep forest,
A chain of smoke was building up
The air was getting filled with the aroma
Of hope and joy, my heart swelled
After witnessing such scenes
from my left and right, I could see
The paddy fields dancing
With the breeze of love,
And danced everyone who witnessed
This prom, the houses with tin roofs
Far away on a hill were shinning,
like diamonds, children’s were playing
Some in the water and few on the ground,
I sometimes wonder, really had I ever
lived such a beautiful day.
